Overview
This 5-day journey centers entirely on Ethiopia's spiritual heart: the eleven medieval churches of Lalibela, carved directly from volcanic rock and still in active use by Ethiopian Orthodox pilgrims today. Time is also spent in Addis Ababa exploring the country's history and coffee culture.

Arrival in Addis Ababa
Arrive and settle in; evening visit to a traditional coffee ceremony.
DAY 2
Fly to Lalibela
Morning flight to Lalibela; afternoon tour of the first group of rock-hewn churches.
DAY 3
Lalibela Churches
Full day exploring the remaining churches, including the iconic Bete Giyorgis (Church of St. George).
DAY 4
Local Village & Return
Visit a nearby village before flying back to Addis Ababa for a farewell dinner.

Departure
